Fire breaks out in Lahore-bound passenger train at Kahna

A fire broke out in the power van of the Lahore-bound Karachi Express train near the Kahna railway station on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

However, the driver’s presence of mind saved the passengers from a major mishap as he quickly stopped the train and separated its remaining bogies from the power van.

No reason for the breaking of the blaze could be ascertained so far while rescue teams from Lahore Railway Station have left for the accident site.
