Cop injured in Islamabad clashes dies

The policeman, who had developed a breathing problem due to inhalation of fumes from shelling during clashes with the federal government employees in Islamabad on Wednesday, has died, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to police, Ishtiaq Ahmad, a constable at police’s Special Branch, who had fallen prey to shelling, had first reported difficulty in breathing at 7 on Wednesday evening.
He finally died at Poly Clinic Hospital on Thursday morning, police added.
