One more PTI leader, a former senator, is ready to defect his party and has decided to join Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Ex-PTI senator Engineer Rasheed Ahmad who hails from Kurram district has planned to bid adieu to his party. He will join the JUI-F and would announce his decision during a big public rally in the area. 

Former senator Rasheed Ahmad held an important meeting with JUI-F Fata Amir Abdul Shakoor. MNA Maulana Jamaluddin, Najeeb Afridi and others were also present on the occasion. 

The Fata Amir extended an invitation to Engr Rasheed to join the JUI-F which the latter accepted.

According to sources, ex-senator Rasheed would hold a meeting with JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Engr Rasheed has been elected as Senate member twice.
