YouTube’s monetization policy changed

Pakistanis can earn money now through YouTube shorts from Feb 2023

YouTube, the leading video-based social media app, has enraged a slew of producers with a recent change to its revenue strategy.

The platform received numerous complaints from members of the community, as the app believes it is the only way it can deal with profanity.

Creators are already dealing with a new wave of yellow-toned cash signs, and this news about the platform hosting profanity-laced videos is worth noting.

The corporation recently updated its conditions, indicating how such an unsuitable video would be demonetized automatically.

If filthy words appear in the first 8 seconds of a video, this is what happens. As you can see, this rigorous guideline clarifies the app's position in comparison to the previous one.

YouTube management stated that they would take more drastic measures to stop the action and keep the site free of such behaviour.

A YouTube representative recommended creators to subscribe to the Community Forum if they wish to stay up to know on forthcoming policy changes in an email to Tubefilter.

Individuals with questions about their monetization status can also reach out to the Creator Support Team.

The new language restriction was also mentioned in an episode of Creator Insider, a video series that offers updates from YouTube employees. Subscribers to that hub should make a point of doing so.

Given the fallout from this latest move, it is possible that further clarification may be provided on Creator Insider.

Protocol discussed the issue of Turd Flinging Monkey, which is routinely demonetized on YouTube due to its risqué content. When it announced it was "Leaving YouTube" in 2020, it included links to hosting platform BitChute, chat server firm Discord, and Patreon in the video description. According to the research, that channel earns between $900 and $4,000 each month through Patreon.

Following this new adjustment, it appears that users will continue to visit the app's Creator Hub.

Opportunity for Pakistanis to make money

YouTube has confirmed that like other countries in the world, Pakistan will also be able to earn money through YouTube shorts from February 2023.

So now, under the new policy of YouTube, Pakistani YouTubers can earn money now through their short videos like Tik Tok by fulfilling a few conditions.

YouTube shorts have grown in popularity over the last year, and YouTube has now added the option to earn money from them.
