Young maid beaten to death in Lahore

A 12-year-old girl who was working in a house as a maid breathed her last due to severe torture by the owner in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The incident occurred in the Nasirabad area of Lahore, where Kaneez Fatima from Faisalabad has been working as a maid in a house for the last month.

Police registered a first information report (FIR) on behalf of the victim’s father, Javed. In his application, the father of the girl said that the owner of the house, Sufi Ijaz, brutally tortured her.

He further said that at about 5:00 pm on Friday, Sufi Ijaz's daughter-in-law called her and asked her to reach Lahore. 

Later, he, along with his wife and brother Zawar Hussain, reached Lahore, where they were told that their daughter was under treatment at Gulab Devi Hospital, and later died.

Police shifted the dead body of Kaneez Fatima to the mortuary for autopsy to detect the real motive behind the murder.
