Brothers of JAAC’s Saad Ansari dissociate themselves from committee’s violent struggle

Brothers of Saad Ansari, a leader of proscribed Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), who is at large, on Thursday said they had nothing to do with their brother as well as the committee he was heading, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a video message recorded in Mirpur, Mohsin Ansari and Ahsan Ansari said that the people of AJK must stay away from the violent and confrontational movement of the JAAC.

They said that it was appropriate to talk about the people’s issues. But the JAAC was treading the path of violence, which had catastrophic consequences, they added.

Mohsin said that the JAAC’s violent activities had caused a loss of human lives.

Ahsan said he appealed to the masses not to become part of the JAAC’s violent movement. “The security personnel, who were killed in clashes with the protestors, were also our brothers,” he said.
