Will part ways with PTI if it fails to honour commitments: PML-Q

PML-Q leader and former federal minister Ch Wajahat Hussain has said that his party has not reached any decision yet regarding its position on no-confidence motion but hinted at ditching the ruling PTI if government fails to honour its commitments with the party, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Ch Wajahat who is brother of former prime minister Ch Shujaat Hussain was addressing party workers in Gujrat on Friday. He said his party was in a fix and had not decided about its position yet. “But I will meet Ch Shujaat and Ch Pervaiz Elahi today and convince them to reach some decision,” he added.

He said that the PML-Q had been with the PTI government for the last three years. But if you do not get respect from a party then you should leave it, he added.

Ch Wajahat rued that during all these three years, the NAB kept summoning sometimes Shujaat Hussain, sometimes Pervaiz Elahi and sometimes Moonis Elahi. 

We will teach them how to give respect to others. If they don’t learn, then we will part our ways with them, Wajahat added. 

He said people were tired of sky-rocketing inflation and they censured government for inflicting economic woes. 

He said that today was an important day as decisions regarding national and provincial levels were to be taken today.
