World Bank okays $435 million loan for Pakistan

The World Bank (WB) on Friday approved the release of $435 million in loan for Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the statement issued by the WB, the amount will be spent on building housing schemes for the people belonging to low-income groups as well as on Punjab Urban Land System project as well as on Punjab Housing Programme.
Out of the total sum to be released, $85 million will be meant for Pakistan Housing Finance project; $150 million for Punjab Urban Land System project and $200 million for Punjab Housing project.
