Govt striving to improve educational standard, says PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the federal government has been striving to improve educational standard in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He said this during a meeting with Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Rana Tanveer Hussain who called on him in Lahore on Saturday.

Rana Tanveer Hussain on this occasion presented a donation cheque, contributed by the federal educational institutions for the earthquake-hit people of Turkiye and Syria, to PM Shehbaz Sharif.

Shehbaz Sharif told the minister that the federal government was improving the educational standards in collaboration with the provincial governments, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.

During the meeting, the overall political situation of the country was also discussed.
