2.73 million doses of fake Remdesivir vaccine seized in India’s Gujarat state

Indian authorities have seized more than 27.3 million doses of fake Remdesivir vaccine in Surat, Gujarat. 

There are reports that this duplicate vaccine has caused several deaths in the country, which is already reeling under the Covid crisis. The authorities have also sealed the factory where the vaccine was being prepared. The fake vaccine was prepared using water, glucose and salt.
