The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has said that it will announce the results of MBBS final year by the end of May, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to a UHS spokesman, the announcement of results was delayed due to the raging coronavirus spread. 

The delay in the results has led to a severe shortage of about 5,000 house officers in the government hospitals across Punjab, the TV channel reported.

Now, Vice-Chancellor University of Health Sciences Prof Dr Javed Akram has directed Controller Examinations Prof Nazia Hassan to release the results by the end of May.

“MBBS final year results will be available by the end of May,” the UHS spokesman said.
