YDA threatens to close OPDs

Young Doctors Association (YDA) has given the Punjab government, the ultimatum of 24 hours to fulfil their demands, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, the leaders of YDA warned to close the Outdoor Patient Departments (OPDs) of all hospitals in the city, after the given deadline of one day.
On this occasion, the senior leader of YDA, Hamid Jugg said if it [the government] will not fulfil the demands, then they will also close the OPDs of other cities’ hospitals in Punjab.
Hamid said besides the Jinnah Hospital, YDA will raise its voice against the firing of the doctors in other hospitals, besides Jinnah Hospital.
He said they [YDA] are living in the world of democracy, and adding to raise their voice is their fundamental right.
