Pakistani actresses Mariyam Nafees and Mishi Khan taking to their social platforms Instagram raised their voices against the police torture of women supporters of Imran Khan.

Recently a video came to spotlight, showing police brutality against a PTI woman.

The Punjab Police dragged a woman protester with her hair on the road in front of everyone which was extremely shameful.

Here is the video:

Actress Mariyam Nafees expressed her extreme anger and disappointment towards the current situation in Pakistan and the ridiculous behaviour of the Punjab police.

“I don’t support vandalism BUT shooting your people straight in the face? Harassing and manhandling women protestors? We’re experiencing the worst shelling and lathi charge and you’re not even sparing elderlies and babies”, she said.

“WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!

P.S: the vandalism is NOT caused by PTI protestors”, she added.

She ended with, “What a SHAME!!”.

Another video surfaced online showing the same violence on our women protestors which is so heartbreaking and cannot be accepted.

They had been dragging a special girl who already cannot walk. They dragged her like a criminal.

Have a look at the video:

Actress Mishi Khan expressed her distress over the shameful behaviour of police.

She also asked where were the women now especially the actress Iffat Omer who in ‘Aurat march’ raise their voices for women.

“Where are those women who dance like hooligans for transgender & LGBTQ rights? Where are they?, where are these Aurat March drama queens?? Shameless women with a hidden agenda.”

“Look at this horrible scene where a woman is dragged by almost 30 men.”

“Where is #iffatomer Bibi who screams like a goat in the ‘Aurat March’ singing for their rights or you only raise your voice for a selected few who you can get some benefits. ‘Wah kya kehny’. Hypocrite.
