Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Maryam Nawaz has seconded her father Nawaz Sharif’s stance on the report about Safdar’s arrest saga after a PDM meeting in Karachi.

“The persons responsible for the mess in Karachi should be exposed,” she said as she responded to the media after a meeting with Pakistan People’s Party Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday at a hotel in Gilgit they are staying at in connection with election campaigns.

The duo discussed the ongoing political situation during the siting that followed a meeting between their party delegates.

According to the PPP media cell, the meeting between the two leaders was held at a local hotel in Nagar Khas, during which matters related to the current political scenario were discussed.

Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar and Advocate Amjad Hussain of PPP and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal, Pervez Rasheed, Maryam Aurangzeb and Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman of PML-N were the participants. Maryam and Bilawal are heading election campaigns for upcoming GB polls.

Prior to the meeting, reports said the two leaders were expected to meet on the sideline of the ongoing election campaign in Gilgit-Baltistan to take up PDM strategy.
