Pre-wedding remarks about marriage haunt Malala Yousafzai

Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai has lately taken the internet by storm by appearing in various snaps portraying a simple Nikkah ceremony taking place in Birmingham which portray Malala tying the knot with Asser Malik.

If you are someone who follows updates revolving around Malala which frequently appear on the internet, you might be well aware with some controversial statements which Malala stated regarding marriage as they caused an uproar over social media. 
In an interview with Vogue, Malala declared: "I still don't understand why people have to get married. If you want to have a person in your life, why do you have to sign marriage papers, why can't it just be a partnership?"
Above mentioned statements made by Malala were taken quite negatively throughout the nation whereas it was later even elaborated that whatever Malala stated was 'taken out of context'.
However now that Malala has tied the knot, celebrity MUA and various netizens have succumbed to bashing the renowned public figure over having double standards while previously declaring that marriage isn't that compulsory and then tying the knot few months later herself.
Celebrity MUA Omayr Waqar took to his Instagram handle and posted Malala's previous declarations about marriage on his Instagram story. The showbiz member also attached a picture of Malala's marriage festivities in the post mocking her by writing: "Four months later."
