Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said the army chief will be appointed according to the constitutional procedure.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, PM Shehbaz Sharif visited Hasan Nawaz's office in London to meet the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif.
The PML-N leaders included the party’s Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz Sharif, and his son Salman Shehbaz during his visit to the London office.
PM Shehbaz held a meeting with Nawaz Sharif and other party leaders and discussed the issue of the appointment of the new army chief of Pakistan.
At the end of the meeting, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif while talking about the appointment of the Army Chief said that the issue of appointment of the Army Chief is constitutional and will be resolved according to the constitutional procedure.
