An ex-lawmaker from Jahanian Karam Dad Wahla called on Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi at his residence on Saturday and announced joining of the PML-Q.

Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema and Senator Kamil Ali Agha were also present.  Parvez Elahi said the Pakistan Muslim League has the members who love public service  

“Will continue our role for progress of Pakistan,” he said, laying stress on showing respect to all state organs.

“We believe that the country is strong because of the institutions' strength, and the enemy should not remain in any misunderstanding,” the PA speaker maintained.

Wahla praised Parvez for his people-friendly endeavours, saying: “During your term as the chief minister of Punjab, the farmer was prosperous and price hike was under control.
