Three including two women and a youth were killed when a trailer ran over a motorcycle here on Friday.

According to details, the accident took place on National Highway in village 37/12-L of Highway where an over speeding trailer ran over motorcycle carrying three people.

Three people including Kaneez Fatima, her daughter Nida Fatima and a nephew Talha Murtaza died on the spot in the accident and the trailer fled the scene.

The bodies were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital for postmortem and the police have started investigation into the incident.

The deceased were on their way to Chichawatni from Dadfatihana to acquire computerized national identity card when they met with the tragic accident.
