Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has decided to step down from his ministry, reported 24News HD TV channel on Saturday. 

Aleem Khan had tendered his resignation in a meeting with the Prime Minister in August. However, PM Imran Khan has not yet accepted the resignation.

Talking to a private channel, Aleem Khan said that he wanted to resign due to personal engagements. “I have requested the PM three times to allow me to resign. As soon as, the PM will allow me, I will resign from the cabinet,” said Khan.
