Govt to launch ‘Digital Flood Dashboard’ for transparency in relief aid

The federal government will launch a ‘Digital Flood Dashboard’ tomorrow to ensure transparency in the distribution and delivery of relief aid to flood victims, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday. 

A digital flood dashboard has been prepared following the instructions of the Prime Minister with the use of the latest technology to provide all the relevant details about relief activities and the receipt and distribution of relief goods and assistance.

The project will be formally launched by Minister for Planning, Deputy Chairman National Flood Response and Coordination Center Ahsan Iqbal on Monday (tomorrow).

It would provide direct information to the general public about the financial support and the relief goods being received and distributed among the flood survivors at the federal and provincial levels. The prime minister has also been briefed about the project.  

Besides, ensuring transparency in the ongoing processes, the general public and media would be kept abreast of the relief measures.
