The Mazdoor Kisan Party staged a protest against the authorities for failure to nail the accused of the Baldia factory fire, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported.

At least 259 people were killed on September 11, 2012, after a fire erupted in a garment factory in Baldia Town.

Labourers, farmers, and rickshaw drivers staged the protest in Lahore

Carrying banners and placards, labourers, farmers, and rickshaw drivers chanted slogans against the authorities for their failure to bring to book the culprits.

They said that the government failed badly to arrest the culprits even after passing 10 years of the sad incident.

Mazdoor Kisan Party General Secretary Comrade Irfan addressing the participants said despite a decade of devastation in the Sindh capital, authorities did nothing to heal the wounds of victims.

Moreover, the government came under fire for its failure to control inflation.
