Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif greeted the nation on the peaceful transfer of power, 24Newshd TV channel reported on Monday

After taking the oath, the prime minister took to Twitter and extended greetings.

“I would like to congratulate the people of Pakistan on the peaceful transfer of power,” the premier tweeted, adding “It is a matter of pride that all our institutions today consider the Constitution the guiding principle.

 “We want to build relations with other countries on the basis of mutual respect, equality and peace. Our focus is on providing maximum relief to all Pakistanis. 

“Together we will make Pakistan a great country. Pakistan Zindabad!”

Shehbaz Sharif upgraded his Twitter account too and added prime minister to the biodata.
