Julia Fox slams ex-husband after being excluded from son’s baptism: “Don’t Have Kids with Losers”

Actress and model Julia Fox has launched a fiery rebuke at her ex-husband Peter Artemiev, urging women not to have children with “losers” after claiming she was deliberately left out of her son’s baptism ceremony.

In an emotional TikTok video, the Uncut Gems star, 35, alleged she only found out about her four-year-old son Valentino’s baptism after it had taken place — with neither an invitation nor a mention from her ex. The actress shares her son with Artemiev, to whom she was married from 2018 to 2020.

“I went to my son’s school performance, his dad was there... and he randomly points to a church and goes, ‘That’s where Valentino was baptized,’” Fox recounted in the video. “I was like, ‘What?!’ He says, ‘You were invited, you didn’t want to come.’ Like, don’t gaslight me. That’s not how this works.”

Fox said she contacted her former mother-in-law for clarity, who allegedly claimed the church only allowed Russian Orthodox attendees and assumed Fox “wouldn’t care.” The actress, visibly emotional, responded: “I’ve raised this child alone for four years… and you think I wouldn’t care about his baptism?”

Taking to social media on Saturday, Fox didn’t hold back. “Ladies, from the bottom of my heart — who you have a child with will dictate the rest of your life. Don’t have a baby with a loser,” she declared.

This isn’t the first time Fox has publicly clashed with Artemiev. In 2021, she branded him a “deadbeat dad” and “alcoholic” on social media — claims he later denied. Fox would eventually apologize on her Forbidden Fruits podcast, acknowledging the emotional toll of the holidays and isolation during the pandemic.

Despite past efforts at reconciliation, Fox’s latest post suggests tensions remain high. She accused Artemiev and his family of gaslighting and emotional abuse, adding: “Now I know — now I have confirmation — of how these people operate. And you’re all trash.”

Peter Artemiev has yet to publicly respond to the latest claims. Fox, meanwhile, has continued to be candid about her parenting journey, regularly sharing updates on social media.

The viral TikTok video has sparked heated discussion online about co-parenting, family boundaries, and emotional trauma. Fans and followers have flooded the comments in support of Fox, with many praising her honesty and emotional vulnerability.
