Mawra Hocane has shared a deeply reflective memory from the very beginning of her career, offering fans a glimpse into one of the most emotionally impactful roles she has ever played.
In an Instagram story, Mawra looked back on a project from 13 years ago that left a lasting impression on her both as an artist and as a young woman in the entertainment industry.
In the caption, she wrote: "13 years ago in the first year of my career I shot a very special project.. I don’t know how many of you have watched it… it was about the life of a rape victim/survivor and how she gets back on her feet after going through such a painful incident…"

Main Gunehgar Nahi (2013) is a tragic Pakistani drama serial centered on Umm-e-Kulsoom, a lower-middle-class girl whose life is shattered after she becomes the victim of a heinous crime, specifically rape.
The story explores her struggle for justice and the 360-degree turn her life takes regarding her engagement and family support.
Mawra Hocane’s journey since that early role has been marked by a steady rise in both television and film.
Her work spans a number of acclaimed dramas and roles, with her performances often spotlighting complex characters and challenging narratives.
