The minister said that the Interior Ministry has moved a summary to the Prime Minister office (PMO) for the Eid holidays from July 20 (Tuesday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed addressing a press conference shared the good news with citizens that there would be a week-long holiday but the final announcement would be made by the PMO.

It is pertinent to note that Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated with religious zeal and fervour on July 21 (Wednesday), as per the announcement made by the Central Ruit-e-Hilal Committee (moon sighting committee).  

Sheikh Rasheed said, “We have moved the summary for Eid holidays from July 20 (Tuesday) …who would come back on Friday (July 23), so it will be weeklong holidays.”
