Islamabad Bar demands transfer of judge Saman Kumari over misbehaviour

Islamabad Bar Association has demanded transfer of Family Court Judge Suman Kumari over misbehavior, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In this regard, Islamabad Bar Association has issued a statement on Saturday condemning judge’s misbehavior with lawyers and clients.

According to the statement, Islamabad Bar Association announced complete boycott of Judge Suman Kumari's court.

Lawyers will not appear in Suman Kumari's court in the future, text of the statement said.

Islamabad Bar Association strongly condemned Judge Suman Kumari's misbehaviour. 

Bar Association stated that misbehaviour, threats and use of foul language towards lawyers is intolerable. 

Islamabad Bar Association also announced complete boycott of Judge Suman Kumari's court and lawyers will go on a complete strike in Islamabad today.

Judge Suman Kumari should be transferred from Islamabad immediately, Islamabad Bar Association demanded. The lawyers threatened court lockout if transfer is not made.

An important meeting of the general body of the Islamabad Bar Association has been called for July 14.

Judge Suman Kumari's words, "Get out of my court" are unacceptable, Islamabad Bar Association said.

Suman Kumari often leaves the courtroom and Islamabad Bar Association will not tolerate such behaviour anymore, the text of the statement said.
