Man thrashes daughter for ‘stealing’ items from house where she worked as maid
One more case of violence on a minor girl, who worked as a maid at a house in Lahore, has surfaced, reported 2the 24NewsHDTV channel on Sunday.
This time the incident has been reported from the Icchra locality of Lahore.
A video has surfaced in which a man can be seen whipping an 11-year-old girl with a plastic pipe.
Residents of the area have claimed that Urooj Fatima was tortured because she was accused of theft, and the man who thrashed her was none other than her father.
They have also claimed that the man beat up his daughter because the owner of the house where she worked had asked him to do so.
Family members of the house owner were also present while the man was thrashing his daughter.
Later, police took the man into custody from the Shah Jamal area and registered a case against him.
DIG operations said that there could be no mercy for those who maltreated children.
