Pakistan made an impressive start to the Asian Boys Under-18 Volleyball Championship 2026, defeating Kyrgyzstan 3-0 in their opening match in Haikou, China, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
The national team dominated the contest from the outset, securing a straight-sets victory with scores of 25-10, 25-19, and 25-17 to begin the tournament on a winning note.
Pakistan took complete control in the opening set through powerful serving, solid blocking and aggressive attacking play, overwhelming Kyrgyzstan 25-10.
The second set saw Kyrgyzstan put up stronger resistance, but Pakistan maintained its composure with disciplined teamwork and consistent performance to claim the set 25-19.

The Green Shirts continued their impressive display in the third set, excelling in both attack and defence to seal a 25-17 victory and wrap up the match in straight sets.
Fahad Ali, Muhammad Anas, Captain Muhammad Irfan, Asadullah, and Faizanullah delivered standout performances as Pakistan registered a convincing opening win in the continental championship.
