Dollar continues making gains, being traded at Rs164.80

The US dollar was again making gains against the rupee in inter-bank rate during early trading on Friday and currently available for Rs164.80, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
It means the dollar has so far gained 22 paisas on the last business day of the week after started trading from the previous level of Rs164.58.
Earlier on Thursday, the rupee was able to reduce the losses as the dollar was up by only three paisas in inter-bank trading.
It means the dollar has moved upward on every day this week with an overall gain of Rs1.50 so far after it had closed the previous week on Rs163.30 in inter-bank rate.
