Four people killed in Shikarpur by rivals
Four people were killed when unidentified persons sprayed their car with bullets in Shikarpur on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police said that the deceased, belonging to Sundrani tribe, were returning from the court when their rivals opened fire at their car near Jarra Canal.
Police said that those killed were identified as Noor Muhammad, Nizamuddin and Adam Sundrani.
Earlier, 24News TV channel had reported that a man killed his wife in Sobal Chandio village in the jurisdiction of Humayun police station.
The woman was identified as Waheeda Chandio, police said, adding she had gone to her parents' home a year ago after developing differences with her husband.
“The man forced his entry into Waheeda’s parents’ home and shot her dead,” the Force elaborated.
Police further said that the man fled after committing the crime, while further investigation was underway.
In yet another incident, a man was killed after a rifle, which his cousin was holding in his hands, accidentally went off.
The police said the incident took place in a katcha area in the limits of Meelani police station.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Wajid Mehar, police said, adding that they were trying to ascertain whether the incident was the consequence of an enmity or it was merely an accident.
