Bride-to-be shot dead at her Mayun in Jacobabad

A bride-to-be was shot dead by a jilted man as she was sitting at her pre-wedding Mayun ceremony in Jacobabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The incident took place in the village of Gul Khan Bungali, within the jurisdiction of Section C Police Station in Jacobabad.
The heirs of the deceased said that accused Zahid Bengali wanted to marry deceased Janat Khatoon, and after her refusal, Zahid Bengali, his brothers, and their accomplices attacked her.
During the attack, the bride received bullet wounds and lost her life.
The police, after registering a case, started an investigation. The police raided different locations to apprehend the accused but so far failed to do so.
