Mehwish Hayat praises Fahad Mustafa in heartfelt Zombeid bts post

Pakistani superstar Mehwish Hayat has given fans an exciting BTS look at her horror-comedy film Zombeid, revealing the hard work, challenges and unforgettable memories that went into bringing the project to life.

Taking to Instagram, Mehwish shared a special BTS series featuring candid moments from the film's set.

Along this, she has also written an emotional note in caption in which she is praising actor Fahad Mustafa. 

She stated: “Zara and Wali faced pure chaos on screen, but behind the scenes of ZOMBEID, it was pure comedy! Massive shoutout to Fahad Mustafa for keeping the energy high and making the zombie apocalypse so much fun to shoot.”

In the first photo of BTS, after long hours of intense filming, the lead duo takes a breather directly on the studio carpet. Dressed in their characters' gymnastic outfits, their shared laughter shows how lighthearted and friendly the environment was behind the camera, despite the exhausting night shoots.

Talking about a contrast! Fahad is completely covered in Hollywood-tier fake blood and gory chest slashes, looking straight out of a nightmare. Yet, right there on set, he and Mehwish are throwing their heads back in a genuine laugh. It perfectly captures how their real-life friendship made even the bloodiest filming days so much fun.

This photo shows an exciting escape scene where Fahad Mustafa wears a vintage army helmet and gets ready to ride a Harley-Davidson bike. Mehwish is sitting right behind him, holding onto his shoulders. Just seconds before the director yells "Action," they share a happy laugh with the crew members around them. 

Mehwish Hayat flashes a bright smile and a peace sign while taking a break on the set of ZOMBEID. Leaning against a yellow vintage car in her character's matching yellow hoodie, her playful pose captures the joyful and positive energy she brought to the intense movie set.

This behind-the-scenes shot captures the duo brave enough to tackle a high-flying stunt scene. Fahad and Mehwish are hanging high in the air, supported only by strong harness wires and an industrial ladder rig. It looks a bit bare right now, but that massive blue screen behind them will soon be turned into a terrifying, collapsing city skyline by the effects team.

The fun didn't end when the cameras stopped rolling! Commenting on Mehwish’s post, Fahad Mustafa simply wrote, "Thank you Zara." By using her character’s name instead of her real one, he gave fans a sweet reminder of their awesome on-screen partnership.

Zombeid is Pakistan's first big zombie movie, starring Mehwish Hayat and Fahad Mustafa. New behind-the-scenes showed exciting action, scary zombies, and funny moments on set, making fans very excited to watch it.
