The snow-covered Burzil Pass has been opened for traffic, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. 

The pass remains closed due to snowfall from October to April. The Pak Army Jawans worked hard to open it in frigid temperature as low as minus 30 degree. 

People thanked Pakistan Army for completing such a difficult task. 

The Burzil Pass lies approximately 5 kilometres north of Gilgit−Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir and some 30 kilometres north of the Line of Control (LoC).
