PML-N, PPP to hold key meeting on Punjab coalition government on March 15

Following a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, sources revealed that both parties have agreed to convene a joint session to address concerns regarding their coalition government in Punjab.

The meeting, scheduled for Saturday, March 15, at 4 PM at the Governor House in Lahore, will be attended by members of the PPP and PML-N Coordination Committee. The session aims to resolve the grievances raised by the PPP, which has demanded a greater role in provincial authorities, access to development funds, bureaucratic transfers, and other administrative matters from the PML-N-led Punjab government.

The meeting will be hosted by Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider, with key political figures from both parties in attendance. The PPP delegation will include Raja Pervez Ashraf, Hassan Murtaza, Nadeem Afzal Chan, and Syed Ali Haider Gilani, while the PML-N will be represented by Ishaq Dar, Rana Sanaullah, Marriyum Aurangzeb, and Saad Rafique, sources confirmed.

With tensions simmering over power-sharing in Punjab, this meeting is seen as a crucial step in maintaining unity within the ruling alliance and ensuring smooth governance in the province.
