Punjab Deputy Secretary Tanzeel-ur-Rehman passes away due to corona

Punjab Higher Education Department Deputy Secretary (Universities) Sheikh Muhammad Tanzeel-ur-Rehman passed away on Wednesday battling the deadly COVID-19, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Tanzeel-ur-Rehman was posted in HED in May 2019 where he served for two years and one month.

Previously, he served in the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department as Deputy Secretary for 10 months, Section Officer at Ministry of Planning Development and Reforms for three years, Manager and Researcher at Ministry of Commerce, Trading Corporation of Pakistan for four years and in Punjab Women Department.

Tanzeel-ur-Rehman was an alumnus of Government College University Lahore of batch 2003 to 2011 where he completed Intermediate, Bachelors and M.Phil Economics. He completed his school studies from Saint Anthony High School from nursery to class 6th.

On his LinkedIn bio Tanzeel-ur-Rehman wrote, “I am a polite man, of my own principles, proud son of (late) Sheikh Habib Ur Rehman, 3rd Common/DMG, who left the world on 05.03.2012.”
