Fed up with his financial issues, a jobless man killed his wife and daughter in Rahim Yar Khan on Monday.

Police arrested the accused with a sharp-edged weapon. According to details, Allah Ditta, a resident of Sadiqabad Tehsil in Rahim Yar Khan District, was jobless for the last few months and could not meet domestic needs of his family. Fed up with his financial problems, he killed his wife and daughter.

Bodies of the victims were shifted to a nearby hospital and handed over to their family after completion of medico-legal formalities.

Police arrested the culprit with the weapon used in the incident and started an investigation after registration of a case against him.
