Kylie Jenner revives iconic King Kylie era with new Kylie Cosmetics collection

Kylie Jenner has announced a new Kylie Cosmetics collection, inspired by her much-talked-about ‘King Kylie’ era, a phase known for her experimental looks and bold fashion choices.

The 28-year-old reality star took to Instagram on Saturday to give fans a glimpse of her latest project, describing it as a nostalgic tribute to her late teenage and early 20s years.

During that time, Kylie became known for her colourful hairstyles, smokey eye makeup, and signature lip looks that later led to the creation of her famous Kylie Lip Kits.

To build excitement for the new release, Kylie shared a short promotional video featuring dramatic visuals and a cinematic theme.

The post, which quickly gained over a million likes, was captioned, “TOMORROW… ON SNAPCHAT @KINGKYLIE.”

Fans were quick to connect the upcoming line with Kylie’s earlier tweet from July 2022, in which she asked her followers what products they would like to see if she ever launched a King Kylie-themed collection.

Many fans suggested she include shades inspired by her vibrant wigs, especially the turquoise hue she famously wore.

In celebration of the announcement, Kylie also revisited one of her 2016 promotional videos from her YouTube channel, showing her signature style from that period.

The clip, directed by Colin Tilley, was originally part of a campaign for her lip gloss line and has garnered more than 16 million views.

With her beauty empire continuing to expand, Kylie now also oversees other ventures, including Khy and Sprinter, after discontinuing her earlier brand, Kylie Swim.
