Social media scam related to Pink Scooties project exposed

A fake social media scam related to the Pink Scooties project of the Sindh government has started, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The Sindh government has taken strict notice of these fake messages and advertisements.
Fake forms are circulating on various social media platforms, and money is being received.
According to the Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA), it is being falsely claimed that girls will be included in the Pink Scooties project if they “register and pay”.
The Sindh government clearly declared that all such messages are fabricated, false, and misleading. 
The Pink Scooties project is a welfare project of the Sindh government to promote empowered and independent travel for women.
Scooties are being provided completely free of cost to deserving women under the welfare project. 
The general public is informed not to trust any non-official website, link or social media account.
'Do not provide your personal information and do not pay money under any circumstances,' SMTA advised.
The Sindh government said that legal action has been initiated against elements spreading fake messages and misleading people.
