New parents, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who have been busy receiving an abundance of felicitations and good wishes after welcoming their very first child, a little princess in life, have been warmly congratulated by Hollywood star Will Smith for the same. The American singer sang enthusiastically: “Congratulations mama and Papa.”

American actor, Will Smith recently took to his IG handle and wished Deepika and Ranveer on their collaborative post. The actor commented a simple congratulations, but a wish from the international star reveals his bond with the couple. He penned: “Congratulations Mama & Papa!!"

Will Smith made a special trip to India in 2018, and his meeting with a few Bollywood people made headlines. The actor reportedly came for spiritual reasons and traveled to the city of Haridwar in India. Some reports even suggested he met an Indian Guru there. When Will came to Mumbai, he met Karan Johar,  and it was Ranveer Singh, who had joined them. The Men In Black actor shared some fun photos with Karan and Ranveer, along with an interesting caption that read:

Since the past few weeks, there have been speculations about the birth of Deepika and Ranveer's child. Some reports even suggested the couple might welcome a baby boy. However, the Bajirao Mastani actor put all the rumours to rest when they shared an IG post with a graphic image to announce the birth of their daughter. It read: "Welcome Baby Girl!" along with their daughter's birth date, "8.9.2024."
