Christian Study Centre arranges visit of prominent miority youth leaders to Punjab Assembly

The Christian Study Centre, in collaboration with its partners, Youth Commission for Human Rights (YCHR) and Ecumenical Commission for Human Development (ECHD), arranged a learning and exposure visit to the Provincial Assembly of Punjab. The participants of the visit included prominent Christian, Muslim, Hindu, and Sikh religious communities and youth leaders. 

The visit featured a guided tour of the old and new buildings of the provincial assembly, followed by a briefing and Q/A session at the committee room. An orientation about recent initiatives for promoting inclusivity was given. The visit also provided interfaith religious, community, and youth leaders with insight into historical developments of the legislative process and workings of the Provincial Assembly. 

Participants thanked Speaker Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, for providing this learning opportunity and appreciated the recent interventions of the assembly for the promotion of interfaith harmony, peace, and equal citizenship.
