Wedding festivities of son of Maryam Nawaz go on

The wedding festivities of Junain Safdar, son of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, is going on.

Family, friends and special guests are showing up at the back-to-back events in Lahore and Islamabdad . The mayun of Junaid was held at the farmhouse of PML-N leader Abbas Afridi while his in-laws opted for their Chak Shehzad farmhouse. Safdar and his family arrived with henna for Ayesha at the Rehman's house.

The venues were decked up and illuminated while horse dance and singing were too part of the ceremonies. Rukhsti will be on 14th  and walima on 17th. 

The special shots shared on social media show the family and friends of the couple participating in the festivities. 

Reports said Junaid Safdar put on white shalwar kameez with a royal blue waistcoat embellished with gold buttons. He had off-white silk shawl around his shoulder and a pair of brown monk strap shoes completed his dress for the function.

Ayesha appeared in a light-grey sharara having gold and silver embroidery and patchwork plus a silver necklace studded with a black gemstone in the centre. The 48-year-old mother of groom too showed up in a Tuscan-sun coloured sharara with elaborate embroidery.
