Eight die as van plunges into River Indus

A passenger van carrying 30 passengers onboard Tuesday fell in the River Indus in Batagram resulting in the death of eight passengers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The rescue teams recovered six bodies and 15 injured people from the river. The rescue operation to recover the remaining seven people was in process.

The bodies and the injured were transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital Batagram.
