South Africa again won the toss and decided to field first against Pakistan in the second T20I at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam had also lost the toss in the previous Twenty20 to South African counterpart Heinrich Klaasen.
The first Twent20 went to the wire as Pakistan held on to win it by three runs.
Pakistan will look to seal the series in today’s match as they are in the lead — 1-0.
The Proteas are desperate to make amends as they face the in-form green shirts after losing the first match in a thrilling last over. South Africa have lost five consecutive T20s so far.
Babar said the pitch looks good and supporting and aimed at making more runs. He said they would try to create big partnerships to put enough runs on the board.
He said they had not made any change to the team that won the first Twent20.
However, South Africa have made three changes in their effort to end their losing streak in the shortest version of the game.
South Africa has given a debut to Glenton Stuurman.
