13 killed as oil tanker collides with passenger bus in Karachi

At least thirteen passengers were killed and several injured during a collision between bus and oil tanker at Super Highway near Karachi’s DHA City on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

According to Motorways police, accident took place due to the outburst of tyre of tanker resultantly oil tanker collided with a van. Four vehicles were hit hard in the accident, including an oil tanker, bus, van and trailer.

Officers and personnel of the Motorway Police said rescue operations were underway.

 According to Edhi officials, the deceased include children and women. The victims and injured were being rushed to nearby hospital.

IG Sindh Javed Alama Odho has directed police to officials to reach the site to protect and clear the area.
