Price of diabetes medicine Amaryl shoots up by 43pc

The price of diabetes medicine ‘Amaryl’ (2mg) has been increased upto 43 percent in the market, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The price of ‘Amaryl’ tablet (per pack) has been increased by Rs140. The price of a box of 30 tablets of Amaryl was previously sold at Rs326, which is now available at a revised price of Rs466.

Previously, the batch number of the old price AW011 was printed on the pack of the diabetic medicine. But, now the medicine is being sold under the new batch number AW017.
