Toyota races up car prices again

Toyota has increased the prices of vehicles by a big margin ranging from Rs280,000 and Rs1.35 million, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The price of Toyota Yaris 1300cc (MT) will now be Rs3819,000 after an increase of Rs280,000.

The price of Toyota Yaris 1300cc (CVT) will be Rs4069,000.

The price of Toyota Yaris 1300cc (HMT) will be Rs4039,000 after an increase of Rs339,000.

The price of Toyota Yaris 1300cc (HCVT) will be Rs4239,000 after an increase of Rs310,000.

The price of Toyota Yaris 1500cc (MT) will be Rs4339,000 after an increase of Rs330,000.

The price of Toyota Yaris 1500cc (CVT) will be Rs460,9000 after an increase of Rs350,000.

The price of Toyota Corolla 1600cc (MT) will be Rs4569,000 after an increase of Rs370,000.

The price of Toyota Corolla 1800cc (CVTSR) will be Rs620,9000 after an increase of Rs460,000.

The price of Fortuner is expected to rise by up to Rs1350,000.

The car dealers termed the price hike as a business disaster.

They said that it had become difficult to meet the expenses as the sale of vehicles fell.
