Talal to get PML-N ticket for Senate seat

Pakistan Muslim League (N)'s decision to give Senate ticket to party leader Talal Chaudhry.

The PML-N has decided to award a Senate seat ticket to Talal Chaudhry, sources said on Friday.

They added the party also decided to give tickets to Talal Chaudhry for two constituencies of the provincial assembly.

His father Muhammad Ashraf Chaudhry will contest the election on the PP-101 seat, the insiders said, adding that Talal Chaudhry's nominee Khan Bahadur Dogar will contest the PP-100 seat and Talal Chaudhry was informed about the party's decision.

Former federal minister Rana Sanaullah told Talal about the good news, the source said, adding that Malik Nawaz will be made Mayor of Faisalabad.

Rana Sanaullah praised Talal Chaudhry for, what he called,  his major contribution and sacrifice in getting rid of the anti-people government.

“The party appreciates your sacrifices and struggle for the cause. Denying National Assembly ticket does not mean ignoring you," the insiders cited Sana as telling Talal Chaudhry.
