Man slits own throat after killing wife in Khairpur

A tragic domestic dispute turned into a bloodbath in Khairpur as a man allegedly killed his wife before attempting to take his own life, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.

The incident occurred in Dabar Mohallah, where a young man identified as Saleem Matleo stabbed his wife, Kainat, following a heated argument. 

Kainat, the mother of six children, died on the spot. Immediately after the stabbing, Saleem reportedly slit his own throat in a suicide attempt.

Upon receiving the report, local police rushed to the scene and shifted the deceased woman and the critically injured man to the Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

According to police officials, the cause of the incident was a domestic dispute, and an investigation is underway to determine further details.
