Late Amir Liaquat Hussain wanted to go to Holland to get away from the social media bashing after his compromised videos leaked by his third wife Dania which went viral on all social media platforms, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Amir Liaquat's friend, Aslam Rehman, told 24News that Amir Liaquat had finalized his plans to leave the country.

“He had submitted his passport and documents to get a visa for Holland where he wanted to deliver religious teachings.”

His friend claimed that Amir told him about life threats.

“Amir was really depressed about the leaked videos of his private life. He released a video message about leaving the country as well.”

Amir Liaquat Soyem was offered on Sunday at 5pm at his residence at 21-A, Khudadad Colony, Main Kashmir Road, Karachi.

Dr Aamir Liaquat was laid to rest adjacent to his parents in the compound of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine in Clifton, Karachi, on Friday.

Dr Bushra Iqbal, former wife of late PTI lawmaker and TV host Amir Liaquat Hussain, said that June 12th was also the same day when Aamir’s mother passed away.

As per police, Aamir Liaquat’s room where he passed away was sealed and only be de-sealed once the investigation and forensic report come.

Brigade Police Station said that only two of his wives—Bushra and Tuba—are registered as divorcees of Dr Aamir in the Nadra record, however, the third wife Dania’s name would only be among the registered list of former wives, once court issues divorce decree.
