Court extends PTI’s Asad Umar bail until June 27

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Tuesday extended the interim bail granted to PTI leader Asad Umar in Askari Tower attack case until June 27, 2023, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The court also ordered Asad to cooperate with investigators.

ATC judge Ijaz Ahmad Buttar heard the case.

Thousands of people had gone berserk following the arrest of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan on June 9.

They took to the streets, vandalized government as well as military buildings besides defiling monuments of Pakistan Army martyrs.
